She is slated to complete the school's comprehensive Bench Jeweler course later this year. Another notable scholar is Lauren Edwards of Oak Park, Illinois, who is embarking on her final year at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. Lauren is specializing in jewelry design and is minoring in art history, with her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree anticipated in the spring of 2027.

Thomas Koslowski, hailing from Southbridge, Massachusetts, is also pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in jewelry design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, entering his junior year. As a 501(c)3 non-profit entity, the MJSA Education Foundation plays a pivotal role in bolstering career development and training initiatives throughout the jewelry sector. Beyond the 'Future of Jewelry Making' Scholarships, the Foundation actively champions the MJSA Mentor & Apprenticeship Program. This program stands as the industry’s inaugural nationally registered apprenticeship initiative, officially recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor, further cementing its commitment to cultivating skilled professionals.
