Hublot Classic Fusion: New Releases Including Europa League Edition and Sage Green Models
During LVMH Watch Week, Hublot introduced several exciting new timepieces to its Classic Fusion collection. This expansion includes a highly exclusive UEFA Europa League limited edition chronograph, alongside various models showcasing a fresh Sage Green color scheme. These releases highlight Hublot's innovative approach, combining its traditional robust watchmaking with a keen sense of contemporary style, offering both a tribute to sporting events and a nod to evolving color trends in haute horlogerie.
The UEFA Europa League limited edition chronograph, dubbed the "Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph UEFA Europa League Titanium Carbon," is a remarkably rare offering, with only 50 units produced. It maintains the core design of the standard titanium Classic Fusion Chronograph, featuring a 42mm titanium case that is 11.9mm thick and water-resistant up to 50 meters. Powering this intricate timepiece is the automatic caliber HUB1153, built upon an ETA 2892-A2 base movement. This caliber incorporates a chronograph module, elevating the total component count to 269, and operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, providing a 48-hour power reserve. The movement's design ensures a balanced display with two subdials and a date indicator positioned at 6 o'clock.
A standout feature of the Europa League edition is its unique forged carbon bezel, which blends black and gray carbon flakes with orange fiberglass. This distinctive material creates a vibrant, tortoise-shell-like pattern, setting it apart from other models. Priced at €14,700, this limited edition justifies its cost through its exotic bezel and exclusivity, especially when compared to the €12,000 price of the standard version.
Alongside the limited edition, Hublot also introduced the Classic Fusion Chronograph Titanium Sage Green, which is a new color variation of an existing model that will join the brand's regular collection. This chronograph features a 45mm case made from Grade 5 titanium, with a thickness of 13mm and 50 meters of water resistance. The titanium case exhibits a refined combination of polished and brushed finishes. The movement inside is the caliber HUB1143, which is functionally identical to the HUB1153 found in the smaller Europa League edition, merely designated differently for its application in larger cases.
The Sage Green models mark a noticeable shift in Hublot’s aesthetic direction, moving towards softer, more pastel tones. This new hue, paired with silver subdials, presents a sophisticated and cohesive look. The Classic Fusion Chronograph Titanium Sage Green is available for €12,200 and comes fitted with a matching rubber-and-textile strap. For those preferring a simpler design, the Classic Fusion Titanium Sage Green offers a time-and-date only version in a 42mm titanium case, powered by the caliber HUB1110, based on the reliable Sellita SW300 movement. This variant is priced at €9,100, with a diamond-set bezel option in 33mm available for €10,700. These new additions demonstrate Hublot's ongoing commitment to expanding its Classic Fusion line with both bold, thematic pieces and elegantly understated options, appealing to a broader range of tastes while maintaining the brand's distinctive identity.
Hublot's recent unveiling of the UEFA Europa League limited edition and the Sage Green models within its Classic Fusion series underscores the brand's dual strategy of embracing both its sporting partnerships and evolving fashion sensibilities. While the Europa League edition appeals to collectors with its rarity and distinctive carbon bezel, the Sage Green timepieces offer a more subdued yet stylish option. These introductions highlight Hublot's capacity to innovate within its established lines, signaling a maturing design philosophy that skillfully balances bold statements with refined elegance, further solidifying its position in the luxury watch market.
