Hublot Big Bang Ahmed Seddiqi 75th Anniversary Limited Edition Unveiled

November 26

In a significant collaboration, Hublot has joined forces with its longtime retail partner in the United Arab Emirates, Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, to introduce two unique timepieces. This partnership marks a dual celebration: the 20th anniversary of Hublot's iconic Big Bang collection and the 75th anniversary of Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons' distinguished presence in the luxury watch sector. These special editions are not merely watches but a testament to enduring partnership and horological innovation, incorporating distinctive design elements that honor both brands' legacies.

The collection features two distinct models, each reflecting a unique aesthetic. The first, dubbed the "All Black" edition, is meticulously crafted from full black ceramic and produced in a highly exclusive run of just 10 pieces. It maintains the Big Bang's signature 43mm diameter and 13.2mm thickness, offering a 100-meter water resistance and a seamless black rubber strap. Powering this elegant piece is the in-house automatic HUB1210 Unico movement, a 354-component chronograph known for its 72-hour power reserve and 28,800 vibrations per hour frequency. A notable customization for this edition is the movement's black finish and a rose gold rotor engraved with the Seddiqi 75th-anniversary emblem, complemented by Eastern Arabic numerals on the dial, a departure from the standard Western Arabic. Priced at CHF 24,900, this variant embodies stealth and sophistication.

The second model, the "Titanium Grey," offers a different visual and material experience. Limited to 25 pieces, this watch boasts a titanium case and bezel, a contrast to the ceramic found in its standard counterparts, creating a refined yet robust appearance. Its design is further elevated by luxurious 5N 18K rose gold accents and Eastern Arabic numerals, paired with a sporty gray rubber strap. Internally, it houses a HUB1210 Unico movement, similar to the All Black but with a gray finish, priced at CHF 21,900. These timepieces are not only examples of exquisite watchmaking but also symbolize the rich heritage and forward-looking spirit of both Hublot and Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, a family business renowned for its extensive retail network, after-sales services, horology education through the Seddiqi Watch Academy, and its pivotal role in organizing Dubai Watch Week.

The release of these anniversary editions goes beyond mere timekeeping; it celebrates a lasting partnership and shared vision for excellence in the world of high horology. Each watch, with its unique blend of technical mastery and cultural symbolism, serves as a beacon of craftsmanship and dedication, highlighting the continuous pursuit of innovation and the strengthening of bonds within the watchmaking community. This collaboration reinforces the idea that true success is built on mutual respect, shared history, and a collective aspiration for future achievements, inspiring all to appreciate the beauty of precision and the value of enduring relationships.
