Taking its name from the Molokini Crater, a famed snorkeling and diving locale off Maui, Hawaii, the Molokini GMT Diver is encased in a 38mm 904L stainless steel body. This material is chosen for its superior corrosion resistance and ability to achieve a high-gloss finish. With a slim profile of 9.65mm thickness and a lug-to-lug measurement of 44.6mm, the watch offers notably compact proportions for an automatic GMT dive watch, a feat made possible by the K2 movement's micro-rotor architecture. The watch also features a unidirectional rotating timing bezel, a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, and a sapphire exhibition caseback, ensuring a water resistance of 200 meters. This robust construction confirms the Molokini as a genuine tool for underwater exploration.

Upon its debut, the Molokini will be available with three distinct dial colors: Sand, Coral, and Ocean, each featuring a unique surface treatment. Instead of traditional applied markers, the watch utilizes printed Arabic numerals filled with Super-LumiNova, contributing to a highly legible and distinctive aesthetic. The dial's layout, despite incorporating multiple complications, remains uncluttered. The Molokini GMT Diver is powered by Horage's in-house Calibre K2, an automatic micro-rotor movement that is remarkably thin at just 3.6mm. This movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides a generous 72-hour power reserve. Its silicon balance spring and escapement components enhance its resistance to magnetic interference and contribute to its excellent long-term stability. Precision is further refined through a screw-balance system, and each K2 movement undergoes COSC certification for chronometric accuracy. The movement is aesthetically pleasing, featuring a gold-plated tungsten micro-rotor and an anthracite finish, visible through the sapphire caseback.

The timepiece is paired with a three-link bracelet crafted from 904L stainless steel, equipped with Horage's Micro Adjustable Clasp (HMAC) folding clasp, which allows for 10mm of tool-free micro-adjustment in 1mm increments.
