Dennison and Collectability Announce 2026 Edition Oblique Watch Series

May 27

Dennison, in collaboration with Collectability, unveils its 2026 Edition Oblique Collection, showcasing a fresh interpretation of watch design. This collection draws inspiration from vintage Patek Philippe timepieces, offering an asymmetric aesthetic that revitalizes the brand's established ALD case. With two distinctive dial options and a accessible price point, these watches invite enthusiasts to embrace a unique blend of heritage and contemporary style.

The partnership between Dennison and Collectability, a vintage Patek Philippe specialist, marks a significant return for the revived Dennison brand. Following its acclaimed 2024 debut and a GPHG award for its ALD Collection, Dennison continues to innovate with its design-driven models. The 2026 Edition Oblique Collection is a testament to this, with designer Emmanuel Gueit lending his expertise to create an asymmetric watch that echoes classic Patek Philippe pieces like the Ellipse, as well as designs produced with Gilbert Albert.

Central to this new collection is the re-imagination of the standard ALD case. While retaining the familiar housing in stainless steel or gold PVD coating, the introduction of an asymmetric bezel profoundly transforms the watch's visual appeal. This inventive approach effectively redefines the core design, a strategy previously seen in the brand's two-handset, quartz-powered ALD Dual Time models.

The collection offers two unique dial variations. The 'Oblique Enigma Dial' captivates with a metal cutout on a two-tone blue and green sunburst finish, where the metal border emphasizes the asymmetric design and contrasts with the bezel's shape. Alternatively, the 'Oblique Vector Dial' presents a sector-style or starburst pattern, available in a matching silver for the stainless steel version or gold for the PVD variant, complemented by traditional Dennison hands.

All models in the collection maintain the original Dennison ALD dimensions, measuring 35mm x 33.6mm with a slim 6.05mm case thickness. The casebacks feature a simple engraving denoting the Dennison + Collectability collaboration and the 2026 edition. Each watch is paired with an updated embossed leather strap, with a brown option for the PVD 'Vector' dial and blue for the remaining models. Powering these timepieces is the reliable Swiss-made Ronda quartz caliber 1062, boasting an approximate six-year battery life.

Available for a limited pre-order period from May 27 to June 3, the Dennison + Collectability 2026 Edition Oblique Collection is priced at $790, excluding taxes and tariffs. This accessible price point, coupled with the distinctive designs, makes these watches an appealing choice for those seeking a blend of historical design influences and contemporary craftsmanship.
