This avant-garde series introduces an innovative in-house mechanical movement, distinguished by its jumping digital 24-hour display and a minute indicator disc. Embracing the 'guichet' style, which utilizes apertures for time display, the Time Jumper also features an intriguing 'half hunter' case with an opening lid and elaborate guilloché engraving on its surface. The collection launches with two exclusive limited editions, one crafted from steel and platinum, and the other from gold.

The creation of the Time Jumper presented significant design hurdles, as digital mechanical dials and intricate opening cases can often be challenging to execute effectively. However, Czapek and designer Thomas Funder successfully navigated these complexities, producing a timepiece that is both uniquely engaging and highly functional. The watch's new Calibre 10.1 automatic movement operates at 4Hz with a 60-hour power reserve, comprising 275 components visible through the case. A notable feature is the magnification window over the hour discs, which, despite initial skepticism, greatly enhances legibility. The 'half-hunter' lid, opened by a button at 6 o'clock, offers another way to read the time, revealing the luminous hour numerals and providing a satisfying tactile experience akin to opening a classic metal gadget. The Time Jumper's aesthetic marries vintage pocket watch charm with a futuristic, almost steampunk sensibility, housed in a sensibly sized 40.5mm wide and 12.35mm thick case with a comfortable 42.4mm lug-to-lug distance, complemented by a fitted blue rubber strap.

The Czapek Time Jumper is available in two distinct limited editions: a 30-piece yellow gold variant with a matching guilloché lid, and a 100-piece steel model featuring an 18k white gold guilloché lid insert, necessitated by the metal's suitability for intricate engraving. Given its inventive movement, elaborate case ornamentation, and complex dial, the Time Jumper commands a premium price. Czapek plans to produce only 180 units of the Calibre 10.1 movement, reserving 50 for future Time Jumper iterations, including ten bespoke commissions for private clients. The steel and 18k white gold version is priced at CHF 42,000, while the 18k yellow gold model retails for CHF 64,000.
