VO Vintage Returns to Vicenzaoro, Showcasing Luxury Timepieces and Jewelry

August 28

The upcoming VO Vintage exhibition, a premier marketplace for vintage jewelry and collectible timepieces, will once again take center stage at the Vicenzaoro event. Scheduled from September 4th to 7th, this specialized B2C show will be held in Hall 8.1 of the Italian Exhibition Group’s Expo Centre, gathering a diverse array of 52 leading Italian and international dealers. This year's iteration marks a significant expansion, growing by 25% compared to the previous year, and promises an even wider selection of unique and valuable items for discerning collectors and enthusiasts.

A key aspect of VO Vintage's appeal lies in its comprehensive program designed to enrich visitors' understanding and appreciation of vintage luxury. Beyond the opportunity to acquire exceptional pieces, attendees can engage with experts, explore the rich history and intricate craftsmanship behind each item, and connect with a vibrant community of like-minded individuals. Matteo Pollini, Exhibition Manager at the Italian Exhibition Group, emphasized the event's growing resonance with younger generations, who are increasingly drawn to the stories and inherent value embedded in vintage objects, extending beyond mere commercial appeal. The exhibition successfully merges passion, expertise, and discovery, providing an accessible platform for newcomers and seasoned collectors alike to deepen their engagement with vintage collecting.

The event will feature an impressive lineup of both vintage jewelry and watches. Noteworthy watch retailers include Spangaro & Co., returning with a preview of its highly anticipated The One auction, alongside specialists like Il Quadrante, Prezioso, Vintage Watches Milano, Gioielleria Cenciarini, and Casciola dal 1950. In the jewelry sector, attendees can look forward to offerings from Zagari, renowned for signed vintage jewelry and gemstones; E.L.A. Antichità, a long-standing expert in period and vintage pieces; and The I Santi Medici art gallery, presenting aristocratic period jewelry. Additionally, Italian Vintage Jewellery will showcase quality stones and gems, while international participants like EL&L Finery from the Netherlands will bring European antique and vintage pieces. Newcomers such as Thomas Huijbrechts, Twinkle D, and Italian groups Nishyda, Daniel Nessim, Excellent Diamond, and Fabiani Group will further diversify the offerings. The program also includes engaging talks and discussions, such as a live recording by L’Orologio magazine on the challenges of watchmaking groups and a presentation on the chronograph's mechanics and history by Irene Baiardi. Watch Insanity will host two events, including a celebration of its 10th anniversary and a focus on the success of the Italian micro-brand Venezianianico. VO Vintage continues to uphold its distinct identity within Vicenzaoro, serving as a dynamic platform where the past and present converge, celebrating product culture, emerging trends, and the enduring passion for collecting.

VO Vintage provides a compelling journey through the world of historic jewelry and watches, showcasing the enduring value of craftsmanship and heritage. Such events inspire a deeper connection to history and artistry, reminding us that true value often lies in the narrative and meticulous creation of an object, fostering a sense of appreciation for quality and legacy.
