While the concept of the 'Holy Trinity' might not hold as much sway as it once did, the concurrent unveiling of the world's most intricate wristwatch and a monumental automaton clock by Vacheron Constantin, alongside Audemars Piguet's ultra-thin flyback chronograph with flying tourbillon, served as powerful reminders of the enduring excellence at the pinnacle of watchmaking. These extraordinary creations, though often beyond the reach of most individuals, underscore a commitment to pushing the boundaries of horological artistry and defining what it means to be a luxury brand today.

Despite these remarkable achievements, the industry also grappled with an overwhelming influx of new products. Coupled with a persistent upward trend in prices, the watch world in 2025 appeared to be wrestling with challenges largely self-imposed, stemming from recent cycles of hype and a certain degree of uniformity.
