Doxa has launched a new iteration of its distinctively designed dive-watch-chronograph, the Sub 200 T-Graph II, just in time for the summer. This new model is a significant departure from its predecessor, transitioning from a limited edition to a permanent fixture in Doxa's collection. Enthusiasts will be pleased to find that it boasts a more attractive price point than the previous 300-piece limited release. The watch maintains the familiar aesthetic of its 1969 inspiration, featuring the signature cushion case and dial layout with two subdials, alongside an prominent arrowhead chronograph seconds hand. However, key enhancements include a reduction in both diameter and case thickness. The updated stainless steel case now measures a more wearable 42mm in diameter and 14.6mm in thickness, a noticeable improvement from the previous 43mm by 15.15mm dimensions.
A notable upgrade lies within its heart, where the new T-Graph II houses a contemporary automatic Sellita SW510 chronograph caliber. This movement offers a slightly extended 56-hour power reserve and a higher beat rate of 28,800 VpH, moving away from the new old stock Valjoux 7734 caliber of the limited edition. Furthermore, Doxa has introduced a fresh Caribbean blue dial option, adding to the classic Professional Orange, Searambler Sunburst Silver, and Sharkhunter Black. All four color variants are available with either a beads-of-rice bracelet or a rubber strap, with the orange and blue dials featuring matching colored straps for added flair. Priced at $4,290 on the steel bracelet and $4,250 with the rubber strap, the Sub 200 T-Graph II is now available, offering a modern take on a beloved classic.
