Since its launch in 1993, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore has been a symbol of audacious design and technical experimentation for the brand. Known for its larger, more assertive presence compared to the original Royal Oak, the Offshore quickly earned its 'Beast' moniker, pushing boundaries in material use and aesthetic diversity. The significant redesign in 2021 brought enhanced ergonomics, a refined 43mm case, and the integration of the in-house Calibre 4401 flyback chronograph movement. The first of the two new models features a complete case crafted from the distinctive "Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50" ceramic. This deep, almost inky blue hue was originally introduced to mark Audemars Piguet's 150th anniversary. Subtle contrasts are provided by titanium elements, such as the caseback frame and push-piece guards, without disrupting the watch's overall monochrome appearance. Consistent with Audemars Piguet's meticulous standards, the ceramic undergoes the same high-level finishing as precious metals, featuring a combination of satin-brushed surfaces and polished bevels.

The dial of this timepiece boasts a beige Méga Tapisserie pattern, complemented by blue subdials that perfectly match the case's color. Rhodium-coated pink-gold hour markers and white gold hands are enriched with luminescent material, ensuring optimal readability. A beige inner bezel, incorporating a tachymeter scale, frames the display, with the date window positioned at 4:30. The watch is completed with a dark blue textured calfskin strap, featuring an interchangeable system and secured by a titanium buckle.
